As we close down for the festive season, Shooting Fish will be taking a heard earned break, before launching into 2009 with a huge range of work. Looking back over 2008 we are supping our mulled wine with a sense of satisfaction, having successfully toured 'Laminated' across the country in the autumn. The show sold out in 4 of the 10 venues and audience and press feedback was insightful and complimentary.
So - 2009... well, we've got to keep some secrets but we are definitely touring again, definitely performing at the brilliant Arts Forum Festival, and definitely building on the successes of 2008. We will see you at a venue near you... until then, we wish you Merry Christmas and a lovely start to 2009.
After a successful sell out premiere we thought we'd share with you some of the lovely audience feedback we received...
"Spellbinding - intense moments dappled with humour, the full range of emotion. Portrayed a true portrait of everyday life - a great experience" (I Hutchinson, Halesowen)
"Compelling, touching, funny and provocative" (O Burden, Worcs)
"Clever, imaginative, insightful. A good mixture of mood" (C Gregory, Cornwall).
"It was certainly a thought provoking piece - and moving at times... the way it explores failed dreams is terrifying in its truth." (N White, Birmingham)
